Spellbinder Update

KCSo, in the aftermath of a successful Spellbinder Pubslush campaign, I’ve been working very hard to get the “finished” manuscript “ready” for the editors. I know, I know, what kind of lunatic writes a book, rewrites it within an inch of its life, then rewrites it on the advice of a professional beta reader, only to send it off to a pro book editor and then out again for a pro book critique? Well, you’re looking at him.

Why all the fuss? I mean, the story is there, the characters are there, the setting, the props…let’s have a curtain-up on the dog gone thing! Well as much as that would please me to get this story out of my head and into yours, I just can’t let this one go without doing everything I can to make it “just right” for you, my Goldilocks. Believe me, I’d much rather be concentrating on my next project(s). I’m ready for something new. For those of you who have read With a Jester of Kindness, especially for those who have read it more than once, I’m sure you are also ready for something new. And Spellbinder will not disappoint. I look forward to hearing back from you when you have had a chance to read it.

Stay tuned, right here (www.TheOtherWorlds.net), for more updates as the book goes into editing and then into production. I’ll do my best to keep you up to date on all that is Spellbinder.

Your humble scribe,

OW Original2

  1. Just finished With a Jester of Kindness at 4am last night on my Kindle. I have to say I am a little upset. It’s not fair to write a book so interesting and enthralling only to get to the last page where it gets to the even better stuff and now I must wait for the next one. Curses Mr. K.C. Herbel. Even though… You got a 5 Star rating and a good review from me.

  2. Regina,

So very glad you enjoyed Jester!

As I said in my response on Facebook: an enthusiastic response from a reader is the best reward of all! Thank you very much!

Please stay tuned for more news about Spellbinder’s release and be sure to keep a night or two open for reading it! 😉

By the way, I hope you’ve received your digital authorgraph for Jester by now. Sorry the signature is so shaky. The interface on that thing is terribly difficult to control.

    Best wishes and better adventures,
